I’m a outgoing, positive and spongy Interactive Art Director slash Copy Writer slash Senior Creative thinking in bubbles and lines, seeing opportunities and insights everywhere - and loving this thing called digital.
Currently, I’m based in Copenhagen after being half a year in New York at TBWA Worldwide where I worked with different aspects of digital product development and concepts. I came to TBWA as a part of my education as an Interactive Art Director at the digital school Hyper Island in Stockholm. Previously, I’ve worked as an Art Director at Grey Copenhagen. Since January 2011, I've been working as a Senior Creative at UncleGrey.
On a personal level, I’m into old fashioned, dirty rock, cold beer and jokes you wouldn’t dream of, the other half likes 20th century art, reading the newspaper and folding the laundry. Both are equally appreciated.
If you wanna play or just have a chat, let’s talk.
Senior Creative at UncleGrey | January 2012 - present
At UncleGrey, I work as a Senior Creative, both from a communicative, conceptual standpoint dealing with advertising in all sorts of media - and with nitty gritty, pixel nudging, web design, UX, wire framing and art direction.
My clients include amongst others ONLY Jeans, the furniture company Bolia.com, The Danish Road Safety Council and the fashion web shop Miinto. In this position, I’ve won more than 20 national and international awards and recognitions, including three Cannes Lions, a Yellow D&AD Pencil and four Eurobest Awards.
Interactive Art Director at TBWA Chiat/Day New York | 2011
As a part of my Hyper Island program, a 3-month work placement period is required in the end of the education. As an Interactive Art Director at TBWA in New York, I spent a lot of time with their storytelling platform projeqt.com, working on new features as well as general UI, UX and design. On top of that, I was involved in conceptual development from a advertising standpoint on both smaller projects and global pitches. I was also involved in developing new business ideas for the in-house product incubator, Pilot.is.
During this period, I worked for the Global Executive Digital Creative Director, David Lee, who chose to project employ me afterwards.
Interactive Art Director Program - Hyper Island | 2010-2011
Wanting to sharpen my digital expertise, I chose to pack my bags and move to Stockholm. Created in partnership with industry professionals, this program covered the entire production spectrum, from strategy and branding to execution, and I found it immensely inspiring to be a part of a very diverse group of people from all over the globe.
Art Director at Grey Copenhagen | 2008 - 2010
While working at Grey Copenhagen, I dealt with advertising in many different forms. My main clients were the Nordic Diet Coke account, The Danish Refugee Council, the painkiller Ipren and the chocolate company Tom’s.

“I had a lot of fun working with Kat! She is a true team player. Always trying to push the project forward and never seems to run out of energy. She's definitely not afraid of taking responsibility and getting things done. Lovely sense of humor also.”
"Katrine excels at every task she takes on and exhibits a great sense of personal responsibility. She's a pleasure to work with.”
“Working with Katrine was an absolute pleasure. Her warmth, generosity and humor made her a greatly appreciated member of our team. Katrine contributed a lot to the project - she was a true professional, coming in early and staying late when needed. She asked all the right questions that as a result refined the concept and always made sure that she and everyone else knew what was going on and why. She was a vital part in the overall success of the project, as well as the team spirit that was maintained to the end. I would work with Katrine again in a flash.“
“An inspiring and hustling young lady with many good ideas. Katrine is both easy and fun to work with. If I would hash tag her it would be under the category #awesome.”
"One thought to keep in mind about Katrine: She cares about people. She was the only one, during our module, who gave me feedback every day, showing she cared about me and my personal development. It looks like a small detail, but it reflects on the work of the whole group. In the end of that module, the whole group agreed that Katrine was the role that kept us together. You don’t see that every day! Besides that, she is a very clever girl, focused, open-minded and a great co-worker and friend!
I believe that - more than just enjoying having her in a team - a company would be proud of simply having her."
"Katrine is the girl that never gives up and would probably die trying. She engages, involves and encourages people to make that extra mile."
“Katrine sees the big picture and adds value to concepts, and she's also ready to get her hands dirty on production even when she's learning as she's doing. Poised and professional, yet fun, and compassionate, Katrine's a great colleague and friend.”
"I had the pleasure to work with Katrine on one of our school projects. Her ability to think creatively but still very constructive contributed to our group immensely. She put the group back on track when we started to dwell between the imaginary worlds of creation. Kat is a very hard worker that is not scared of getting her hands dirty. Beyond our working together, I have observed great project managing abilities in my colleague."
"Katrine is a structure-person, yet adheres to soft-values and not impressed by hierarchies. She has both strict working morals and a good sense of humor."
